Developing Effective Relationships at Work
People problems can tire you out and make you less effective at work if you do not deal with them effectively and promptly. This course will show you effective ways to deal with people challenges at work to help you resolve them competently and constructively.
We will encourage you to:
- Learn the principles of effective communication and how this can help create a WIN:WIN outcome
- Recognise and explain the differences between aggressive, assertive and passive behaviour
- Look at a range of techniques and know when to use coaching, constructive feedback, positive feedback or corrective action
- Examine different behaviour styles, including your own, and understand the impact these can have on people
- Develop strategies to resolve conflict effectively
- Understand the difference between negotiation and influencing and learn techniques to allow you to do both more effectively
About this workshop
- This workshop will involve you in a mixture of interactive exercises and discussion.
- Our trainers are experts in their topic and deliver courses in a practical, interactive style
- The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate
- A two course buffet lunch and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the
Timing
Courses start at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4.30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch.
