Let our course come to the rescue and help you to control your nerves to give polished and enjoyable talks and presentations. Our friendly and patient trainer will help you learn how to:

• Speak to large or small groups with confidence
• Prepare and structure an effective 10 minute presentation or speech
• Clarify what you want to achieve
• Maintain the interest of your audience
• Put your points across clearly using the appropriate choice of presentation aids
• Avoid the common pitfalls
• Time your material and adjust your style to suit your audience
• Be aware of and employ non-verbal communication techniques
• Prepare yourself beforehand
• Handle questions with confidence and skill
• Use notes and other memory aids
• Conquer your nerves
• Understand audience psychology

About this workshop

• This workshop will involve you in a mixture of interactive exercises and discussion. There will be an opportunity to practise your new skills and give a short presentation to colleagues which can be filmed so you can see yourself in action.
• Our trainers are experts in their topic and deliver courses in a practical, interactive style
• The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate
• A two course buffet lunch and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the price

Timing
Courses start at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4.30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch.

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
