This Intermediate course will improve your efficiency in the way you manage data. We will show you how to use Excel’s advanced spreadsheet functions, such as creating summaries using tables and charts and how to customise the Excel environment for your particular requirements.
By the end of the day, you will be able to:
- Work with multiple worksheets and link data
- Use hyperlinks in your spreadsheets
- Use conditional functions and formats
- Understand payment and date functions
- Apply, modify and create styles using the function wizard
- Use advanced graph and chart techniques, 3D charts and pictograms
- Use Excel as a simple database
- Import data from other files using dynamic links
- Understand the IF, PMT and date functions
- Make use of graphics in Excel spreadsheets
- Familiarise yourself with graph types and auto-formatting, gridlines in charts, combination charts, advanced viewing techniques (3D charts) and how to incorporate pictograms in graphs

- The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
