Do you want to improve the productivity and effectiveness of your team members? A recent report based on a survey of 500 companies finds half (51%) consider coaching as a key part of learning and development and consider it ‘crucial to their strategy’. It is being used at all levels to build on good performance (23%), improve poor performance (20%) and it forms part of leadership development (23%).

This workshop will help you learn coaching techniques to help you get more from your team members.

  • The range of coaching approaches and the business benefits
  • The process of coaching
  • Selecting an appropriate coaching style
  • Structuring a coaching session using tried and proven techniques

About this workshop

  • This workshop will involve you in a mixture of interactive exercises and discussion. There will be opportunities to practise your new skills through role playing exercises in a supportive atmosphere
  • Our trainers are experts in their topic and deliver courses in a practical, interactive style
  • The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate
  • A two course buffet lunch and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the price

Courses start at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4.30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch.

About the Facilitator

Ray StevensonRay is an accomplished trainer specialising in management development and has more than eighteen years of experience. He attended university as a mature student to achieve an Honours degree, thereby progressing into teaching. Ray has worked for a cluster of quality dealerships such as Porsche, Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz and became the Training Manager of the same Scottish quality dealership group. He has worked with a wide portfolio of clients since and has helped them become more efficient in a variety of areas including customer service, team building and problem solving.

Ray has carried out assignments in aerospace, defence, local and national government organisations, a wide variety of manufacturing and service companies and the National Health Service. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. In addition, Ray is a qualified assessor and verifier with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and has extensive working knowledge of the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) qualification.

Support Available

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
