Influencing and Persuading

We all need to influence and persuade others to do things whether it’s your colleagues at work, your customers or your family and friends. If you work as part of a team then you’ll need to persuade your colleagues to take your views on board. If you are a manager then you probably need to persuade and influence your team to help you achieve your targets. If you are a sales person then you need to perfect the art of gentle persuasion. Have you tried to influence and persuade someone recently and failed? Would you like to succeed every time?
 
This workshop will:

  • Show you how to succeed at influencing and persuading to get the results you want
  • Teach you a whole range of tactics to use to influence and persuade others
  • Help you to work out which tactics would be the most effective one depending on the situation and person
  • Enable you to be more flexible in your use of different tactics so you succeed every time
  • Enable you to win over even the most challenging person

Kirsty McKinnonKirsty brings passion, enthusiasm and humour to her workshops. She is passionate about helping people grow and develop. Her sessions are fun, lively, interactive, practical and relevant to the real world of work and business. She is a qualified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming which is the use of practical psychology to improve how we perform.  Kirsty works with businesses in many different areas and provides coaching training and facilitation. Kirstys’ background is in biochemistry and retail and she has a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry and has a decade of retail management and sales account management experience with companies such as Mars, Mattel and Marks & Spencer.

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
