Managing Change Effectively

The only thing that is certain in business is change. All managers need the skills to lead people through change whether at company or team level. Change in various forms - whether economic, technical, social, political, environmental - affects all of our lives and no more so than in the workplace.  This course deals with how to manage change successfully.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the programme delegates will be able to:

• Outline the major features of change ‘drivers’ and relate these to a change strategy
• Prepare a change strategy and link this to a plan
• Assess organisational and individual ‘readiness’ for change
• Use appropriate communication to establish clear dialogue with individuals and groups
• Recognise and deal with barriers and the effects of change
• Identify individual responses to the change ‘curve’ and respond appropriately
• Manage the planned change process

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
