Successful Coaching at Work for Managers

Do you want your people to work more effectively? Coaching is an approach successful managers use to help people reach their full potential. Coaching will help you build the skills, confidence and competence of individuals and create motivated, empowered teams. It is an essential skill for any successful manager. In this workshop you will:

• Learn what coaching is and how it can help you become a more effective manager
• Understand the benefits of using coaching as a style of leadership and management
• Explore the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective coach
• Learn how to develop, motivate and empower individuals to be more effective in their role
• Identify the different ways in which individuals learn and understand how to apply the coaching approach which best meets their particular needs
• Learn the importance of goal setting to enable individuals and teams to achieve results
• Practise coaching skills and behaviours in the safe environment of the workshop
• Create action plans to improve your own coaching skills

About this workshop

• This workshop will involve you in a mixture of interactive exercises and discussion. There will be opportunities to practise your new skills through role playing exercises in a supportive atmosphere.
• Our trainers are experts in their topic and deliver courses in a practical, interactive style
• The maximum number of people on a training course is 12 so that the trainer can accommodate the learning needs of each delegate
• A two course buffet lunch and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the price of this course

Timing
Courses start at 9.30 and end at 4.30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch.

If your business is located in the West of Scotland you may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the cost of participating in these courses. There are a number of places available which are reserved for businesses with less than 250 employees and companies must meet certain eligibility criteria.
